Welcome to Terra Curiosity! I’m Joseph Frombaugh, a dedicated Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional with over five years of experience specializing in SmallWorld GIS and ArcGIS. I have a Bachelors Degree in Geography (with a minor in Geology) and a certificate in GIS, while most of my professional jobs have been in the electrical or utilities sectors, where I have honed my skills in mapping, data analysis, and spatial problem-solving.

My interest in maps & GIS began in my childhood, where I often would spend time obsessed with the maps within highway atlases as a child. I also used to enjoy collecting rocks as a child, and that led to my pursuing my studies in Geography, Geology, and by extension learning about GIS and how it used.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about leveraging GIS technology to find solutions that benefit our communities and the challenges we face in the modern world. My experience spans across various aspects of GIS, including data integration, spatial analysis, and creating detailed, accurate maps that support critical decision-making processes.
